Amidst shifting global economic paradigms, more than 200 policymakers, investors, and business leaders will gather in Hengqin and Macau, China, from July 8 to 10 for the Horasis Asia Meeting 2026. This year’s high-level summit aims to address how the Asian continent can bolster cooperation and shape a more sustainable and prosperous global economy.
The summit serves as a crucial trusted platform for dialogue between the public and private sectors, especially against a backdrop of ongoing economic transformation. Over the course of three days, attendees will participate in more than 30 sessions focusing on pressing macroeconomic issues, including energy transition, regional trade, financial markets, and the future of globalization. Key plenary discussions such as “Asia and World Economic Outlook” and “Reimagining Globalization: Asia’s Vision for an Open World” will set the tone for the event. Furthermore, the role of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a catalyst for high-quality development will be a major focal point for international stakeholders.
The selection of Hengqin and Macau as the host region highlights one of Asia’s most dynamic models of regional integration. By closely linking Mainland China with Macau, the area functions as a laboratory for cross-border cooperation and international connectivity, offering a blueprint for collaborative development models.
“Asia is entering a defining decade,” said Frank-Jürgen Richter, Chairman of Horasis. “Its leadership in technology, entrepreneurship and sustainable development is increasingly shaping the global economy. The Horasis Asia Meeting brings together leaders who believe that cooperation remains the most powerful driver of prosperity”.
The meeting will be co-chaired by a diverse group of distinguished innovators and business leaders representing Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Asia, ensuring a truly global perspective on the region’s path forward.
